HERE’S WHAT ILBSA IS DOING about the EPA mandate for Lead-Safe Work
Practices training that went into effect on April 22, 2010.
Most everyone knows that this training applies to a wide
cross-section of our members' customers – painters, remodelers,
plumbers, electricians, roofers, mechanical contractors, etc. Question
is: How do the thousands of individuals get trained when there are so

We’ve discovered a GREAT solution to the problem. We’re proud

Online Lead-Safe Work Practices Training. Six (6) hours of online training
is accompanied by two (2) hours of “hands-on” skills assessment.
“Hands-On” classes are scheduled at locations as convenient to you as
possible. Once ILBSA members take and complete the online portion of the
training, we’ll determine hands-on locations convenient for them. (You must
sign up for a hands-on training class in advance by responding to an email
you will receive upon completion of the online portion of the training.

You must use Lead Safe Work Practices when working in child occupied
facilities or homes built before 1978. To become RRP Certified, you MUST
receive training from an Accredited Training Provider!
