Bloomington; Tuesday, February 12th in South Bend (Roseland). One of ILBSA’s most
popular courses with our own nationally-known presenter, this is a “must”

19, 20 and 22 in each of ILBSA’s three geographical regions—north, central, and
southern Indiana. Come enjoy a luncheon with your fellow members and hear a

confusion surrounding this hot topic, so let ILBSA sort it out for you and
give you the competitive edge in this area!
BANKRUPTCY ISSUES FOR BUILDING MATERIAL DEALERS
Later Summer/Early Fall 2008
Presented by James T. Young, Esq. of the law firm of Rubin & Levin, this
two-hour seminar will assist you in knowing your rights, and getting your
money, when your customers and/or builders declare bankruptcy. You’ll learn
the different types of bankruptcy protection filings, what they mean for you
when you’re a creditor, and what to do to work within the system. The
attorneys at Rubin & Levin have customized this course just for you, so it’s
not “generalized” and confusing. Every dealer in Indiana needs this vital
insight, and ONLY the Association brings it to you!
LET’S GET COMPLIANT WITH OSHA STANDARDS and Workplace Safety Laws
Fall 2008
The popular OSHA “Ten-Hour” general industry course for your staff members
in charge of maintaining the OSHA/IOSHA records, training, communication,
and programs. Customized just for lumber and building material dealers and
associates, the professional workplace safety team at RMS-Safety (loyal
ILBSA members for years), this course cuts through the confusion and rumor,
and lays it all out clearly and concisely. You’ll learn everything from
proper training and record-keeping to forklift safety training, lockout/tagout
procedures, avoiding heavy fines and penalties, and staying AHEAD of the
curve with this vital compliance area. Your employee will receive
certification cards, and it’s done all in one day! (Most OSHA 10-hour
courses are 2-day events, but we’ll do it in one to avoid out-of-office
time!)
