As you know, your “safety-sensitive” employees, like CDL
drivers, are required to be tested periodically. The power of the
Association really comes to the forefront with a “consortium”, or one
large group, to provide this testing to keep you in compliance with FMCSA
(Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Dept. of
Transportation) rules.
As the consortium has grown over the years, so have the
needs of the members. As a business leader, you would rather spend your
time building your business, dealing with customers, and making sales; not
being bogged down with government paperwork, hoping you are in
compliance. And with the CDL Consortium, your entire program is
handled. It’s that simple.
Remember,
INDIANA TESTING's
web site allows you to get critical information, answers to your questions,
announces new regulations and has links to test results pages. And providing
this superior
service at the best rates is part of the everyday mission of ILBSA.
Many of our members have also asked for other employees (those
who may not have a CDL license) to be tested as well. Under many programs,
these tests are not included at the same rate. With the ILBSA Consortium and
Indiana Testing, other employees can be tested, too!
